We here at Kalifornia Entertainment absolutely love the Rochester venues we play at and the Rochester wedding vendors we get to rock out with every season. You’ve seen our Vendor Spotlights and interviews that we’ve done in the past, which we will be starting back up soon. But this time, we wanted to take a moment and actually talk about some incredible venues that we absolutely adore and love to play at every year.
Once engaged, you’ll quickly begin to ask yourself, “Where should I get married?!” There are so many options for Rochester wedding venues and everyone will have an idea of the perfect wedding venue for you….but you need to feel that the venue is right for you, so we’re here to help! Some of these, we play at multiple times through-out the wedding season, which always bring immense amount of joy to us when a bride says she has chosen one of these as her location. We, of course, love playing at EVERY venue, but these are the ones we enjoy a little bit more for different reasons. Top 5 Rochester Wedding Venues
La Luna – La Luna is a very special venue if you’re a bride and groom looking for an industrial feel with a large space to accommodate all of your friends and family. It’s located in the historic High Falls district and the beautiful outdoor terrace opens up and overlooks the beautiful waterfalls and scenery. It’s a multi-level venue with an upstairs area and a spot to go onto the roof for incredible photos. The outdoor terrace allows for ceremonies to be done, over looking the beautiful waterfalls and scenery of the area. There is a large dance floor to accommodate big crowds who love to shake it, the staff is warm and welcoming, and both the owner and coordinator will work with clients to achieve their vision and needs.

Cobblestone Creek Country Club – Cobblestone is a venue that we usually play at 4 to 6 times per year, much like the other Rochester wedding venues on this list. You might be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful outdoor location than an 18-hole golf course filled with gorgeous land, luscious green grass (or beautiful white snow if you’re having a winter wedding), trees, and flowers. Golf courses are beautiful backdrops for gazing out at the fairways from inside a ballroom, like at Cobblestone Creek for example. This venue employs culinary experts that are right on-site to prepare and customize whatever the bride and groom desire for their wedding feast. Couples can sometimes spend time on their wedding day traveling around to other locations for wedding photos. Well with a wedding at Cobblestone Creek, you already have a gorgeous backdrop right at your reception site. The staff and coordinator team is absolutely amazing to work with and they do everything in their power to assure your day goes perfect!

The Finger Lakes Hotel – The Finger Lakes Hotel is conveniently located off of the NY State thruway outside of Rochester, NY. Their elevated setting is surrounded by 60 acres of beautiful woods and wildlife. The property gives you the feeling of being tucked away in a private resort while at the same time giving you easy access to all of the adventures the Finger Lakes region has to offer. The hotel has gone through many different updates and construction projects to assure your stay and reception is one you will always remember. The owner and staff work with many clients to develop a custom-tailored package and menu that fits within their budget and needs.

Ravenwood Country Club – Ravenwood Country Club is another golf course that we especially love for multiple reasons. Not only is the staff and coordinator some of the best around, but the entire ambiance and setting of this venue is spectacular. There is an outdoor area, where the dancing takes place and where the main bar is located at. The great thing about this is if you’re dancing through out the night, the bar is only footsteps away for you to grab one of your favorite drinks before returning back to show off those epic moves! In the winter, a temporary wall is put down and industrial heaters are set up to make everything nice and cozy for those who want to have their ceremony here, and for those who are ready to dance the night away without the cold winter air putting a damper on things. During the warmer months, it’s open to a sitting area with a fountain and lush vegetation. The grounds are immaculate and perfect for photos and adventuring. World class chefs are on-site to deliver you the meal of your dreams and the indoor dining area is spacious and breath taking.

Italian American Community Center – The IACC is one of those venues that not many people think about or possibly even know of. The Italian American Center (IACC) is the largest multi-functional center in the region. It was the vision of a group of energetic and dedicated people who launched a monthly bilingual Italian-American newspaper and roughed out their objectives. The IACC building rose from its foundation as a truly cooperative endeavor.
The IACC building contains three floors, with a total of 27,000 square feet of floor space. The basement floor has a recreation room, and bocce courts. The main floor features “The Grand Ballroom”, with a capacity for 280 people, an Italian style bar/cafe and offices. The top level is complete with a Boardroom/Classroom, the Richard DiMarco Library, and a second banquet room with a dance floor and bar. The staff at the IACC is wonderful and they do everything they possible can to assure your reception goes exactly as how you planned.
