This weekend, we were at it once again as the Rochester DJ and wedding entertainment vendor of choice for the Lewellyn Wedding. It was a perfect day for a Fall Wedding! It was held at a beautiful local hotel that sits up on top of a hill that allows you to see downtown Rochester on a clear day. We’ve played at this venue a lot in the past, but usually it’s inside their ballroom. They at one time had an large outdoor tent as well, but in the last couple of years, they removed the tent and constructed what they call their event center. It was a blank slate that allowed us to do a lot of cool things with lighting, since the walls and ceilings are all white. The ceremony was held outside overlooking vast landscape, and once the sun started to set, it gave this appearance of the sky being on fire. It was breathtaking! The other amazing thing about this Rochester wedding is that the groom is a Wayne County Sheriff. We also enjoy doing LEO receptions because they turn out to have so much energy and excitement!
