We’re a little late with this one, but we are finally getting a moment to write our weekly blog post for the outdoor tent wedding reception we did last weekend as the Rochester DJ and entertainment vendor of choice for the Garnish wedding. This reception took a lot of planning solely because it was being held outside on private property with wedding tents. It was a Boho style wedding reception, with an outdoor ceremony, lots of string lights, classic decor and furniture, fire pits and other fun elements. Speaking of elements, it was a drizzly day with some on and off rain showers that we had to dodge. Luckily we were able to set up under a pop-up canopy so all of our gear was dry, and the Rochester photo booth stayed under a tent as well so people could enjoy using it all night. We also had to work around some power struggles as the entire reception was being ran off of the home on the property. After having a few breaker flips, we finally were able to dial in and get the power situated where we could have a fun party without any issues.
